Whether this is the very start of your counselling journey, or you have experience of therapy before, welcome.
I am a BACP registered Integrative Therapeutic Counsellor, based in Bath. I take a person-centred approach to my work - meeting and walking alongside you on the journey to uncover your true self. Together with person-centred and psychodynamic theory, I incorporate psychoeducation and more mindful, embodied techniques.
I believe that the relationship between counsellor and client is at the heart of the therapeutic experience and in our work together I will provide a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space where your needs are seen and heard. Counselling sessions are yours to bring and discuss whatever is on your mind.
I’m also passionate about the natural world and understanding how we relate to all that is around us, and I believe that consideration of these relationships can be a powerful resource within the therapeutic process, and nature has a profound role in healing. My own research interests are currently focussing on how we connect to non-human others/spaces and the potential that exploration of these connections might have in understanding our true selves and experiences.
